RAID Support

Post by hddguy » Thu Jan 05, 2012 11:37 am

Are there any plans to include support for non-standard RAID configurations? Examples are 1E, 5E, RAID5 with delay etc.

For the most part custom layouts can be made and saved as templates, but each new case can potentially require a new custom layout.

In November I have 2 x 12 Disk RAID5 from HP Server with parity delay, R-Studio would have been great to use but custom layout would take so long to create.

Yes, there're plans to support those layouts. Not actual deadlines, though.
