A new build of R-Drive Image version 4.7 is available for download.
Improvements
New features:
+ R-Drive Image now can copy partitions from a hard disk to another one with a 512KB alignment. This is useful for SSD and advanced-formatted disks.
+ R-Drive Image can now set a process priority and a number of CPU cores used to create an image.
Changes
= The “Realign partitions” option is used now on the Restore/Copy parameters panel for the disk copy action instead of “One partition after another”.
Fixed
- Some bugfixes in processing NTFS partitions with 4096-byte sectors.
- Some cosmetic fixes.

Re: R-Drive Image v4.7 build 4733
Hi,
I see the latest version is now build 4734 . I have a small issue when using the command line through scripts : the progress display now acts "funny" : the current display progress that uses ===> goes much slower then the total progress, even when there is just one drive to be imaged. I would attach a screen capture if the forum let me do it !
In this capture the left side progress (C:) is 24% whereas the total progress is 42% and there is only C: to be imaged (and the partition structure, but that's a small task).

We're investigating this problem.
Re: R-Drive Image v4.7 build 4733
Thanks. I just see a new build dated from today. Gonna try it... [Edited: seems solved now, great !]
BTW, I have a general question about new versions : is it recommended to create new full images when installing a new (minor) version ?

Generally no, and we'll warn all our users when it's necessary, i.g., due to a dome incompatibilities.MerleOne wrote: BTW, I have a general question about new versions : is it recommended to create new full images when installing a new (minor) version ?
