Recovering RAID1: Position of file fragment is outside...

Post by Guest » Mon Feb 27, 2012 11:18 am

Hello Forum,

because of some software error, I lost my GPT-Partition (EXT3-FS) which was on a 3ware RAID1 with about 600GB.
When trying to recover, R-Studio says `Position of file fragment (7522983211008) is outside filesystem size (749979244032).` and stops copying.
I have already made a full scan of the disk and selected the (marked green) partition, which size seems to be correct.
What can I do to recover the file?

Thanks a lot!
Sascha

RAID 1 is a mirror, that is, two disks are the same (or should be). Do you use a virtual RAID 1, or just one disk from it?
And do you use the latest version?
