Recover data from RAID 5 disks after Windows CHKDSK

Post by ZephyrWu » Thu Jan 24, 2013 8:37 am

Hi,

There is a RAID 5 system built by Intel RAID controller and 4 SATA HDDs on my Windows 7 PC .
Few days ago one of the HDDs offline and RAID degraded .I replaced a new HDD and made it online .
Then I reboot my PC ,Windows run CHKDSK automatically and I forgot to stop it .
After CHKDSK ,I can see the folders and files in RAID 5 disks but the files are all damaged could not be opened .

I try to recovery data by R-Studio many times but never successful .
Does any body know how can I do with this case ?

Thanks .

CHKDSK, probably, is the worst software data enemy, quite often even worse that a typical virus. I'm afraid, the only option to you is to go to a data recovery professional, although there's no guarantee, and the price might be quite steep.
