Help defining known filetype for "MTS" AVCHD format for R-St

Post by mclaugb » Thu Aug 22, 2013 7:34 pm

Dear All,

The latest version of R-Studio does not have a known "MTS" filetype for my Canon Vixia AVCHD filetype and I'm missing these files when I scan the drive. Assuming they are not fragmented, I looked around the forum and tried use an MTS format someone else had made, but it didn't work on a test scan of my USB stick.

Can someone help me make an XML file from the below links to MTS files from my camera. I would really appreciate this.

Here is the XML file I used:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<FileTypeList version="2.0">
<FileType id="50001" group="AVCHD" description="Canon HD Video" extension="mts">
<Signature>\x00\x00\x00\x00G@\x00\x10\x00\x00\xB0\x11\x00\x01\xC1\x00</Signature>
<Signature from="end" offset="188">\x47\x1F\xFF\x10</Signature>
</FileType>
</FileTypeList>
