How do I initiate a storage spaces recovery?
All drives are present, no failed drives, the raid controller failed. I don't see the ability to restore from the space level, only from individial drives.
Worth noting, this was created on Server 2012 R2.
Thanks,
Storage Spaces
Re: Storage Spaces
Which type of RAID was it originally?
Is it a server?
Is it a PC?
Is it an HW RAID with RAID controller, or is it a SW RAID?
Is it an workstation Asus-like mainboard with common intel Sata controller with raid?
Thank you for clarifying

Re: Storage Spaces
RAID 0, for each drive.
So each drive was in its own RAID array.
Server 2012 R2.
HW RAID, LSI 8888ELP

Re: Storage Spaces
Can you post a screenshot of R-Studio's Drive pane?

Attached is the drive pane.

Re: Storage Spaces
As I understand, the windows storage spaces were created on RAID(s). If that is correct, you have to created virtual RAID(s) from its (their) parents. As soon as the RAID0(s) is/are correctly created, R-Studio will be able to discover and re-construct windows storage spaces.
