How to Access files from a broken BlackArmor NAS 110

Post by gruby » Thu Nov 06, 2014 3:28 pm

The network portion of my BlackArmor NAS 110 broke. The Mfr was no help, but did tell me the NAS uses a Linux file system. I purchased R-Studio (for Windows) and installed the NAS drive in a separate enclosure connected to my Laptop via USB. R-Studio seems to see something, but wont let me SCAN to drive to figure it out. help

Can you post a screenshot of the Drives pane in R-Studio's main panel?

Looks like the ASMT either is connected incorrectly through USB, or has some hardware issues. Or maybe the NAS has an internal hardware encryption?
I'd try to connect the disk through a SATA port to the computer, if it's possible.
