Installation on Mac

Post by Michael » Thu Jan 22, 2015 10:43 am

Hi

I have just purchased R-Studio for Mac and I have some issues when installing.

After downloaded and installed it I got a prompt for admin user and password, fine then I filled in mu name and license key.

But, the next time I start it I get a prompt for admin again and have to redo it.

Also, I can only run the tool as the user that I installed it as.

How to fix this?

cheers

Michael

Probably, R-Studio for Mac required registration when you ran it first time. But it will require you enter your password each time you start it - that's a requirement of Mac OS X for programs that have extended access to disks.
What does R-Studio tell you when you start it as another user?
