Destination disk is too small!

Post by truongnm » Wed Feb 25, 2015 1:06 am

Hi guys, I'm new to R-Drive Image.
So I got this error "Destination disk is too small"
Image

Image

No matter what I've tried: give it 1TB free, make the partition primary, delete the partition so it become unallocated, still say too small,
even I have reinstall my windows but still it say too small =..=
It's weird 'cause I have done this before and no error happen.

Thanks in advance. Love Russia.

This is an HFS+ partition, R-Drive Image cannot resize it. The destination disk (partition) should be exactly of the same size (up to a byte) as the source one.
An awkward warning, I agree.

well, actually I'm doing some hackintosh
Posting links on this forum to pirated software isn't a smart idea.

Its would be nice if r-drive would be capable to create partition with right size, its annoying, but form my experience it dont working sometimes even on real mac mini 2011,
i think that there is something wrong with GPT partition info detection i did some partition through windows and Gparted and i got this error, after i resetuped HDD by
disk utility its working..

Actually R-Drive Image is a Windows software. Its startup version can work with the Mac disks, but with limited options.
