Raid question

I have a raid array from a server that had a hardware failure. The array should be fine but the server was old so the hardware can't be replaced. Now I need to get the data off the HDD. I took a desktop and booted to the local drive and can see the three drives as extra drives. I have loaded the utility and scanned them. I can see the file/folder structure in each of the recognized areas. The some folders have red X's on them and other don't. I assume that these are partial files. I did select one without a red X that was under the demo limit to see if the file would recover. It recovered it but couldn't open it.

My question is how can I create a virtual raid to see the file structure to copy it to another HDD?

Also, which is the RAID controller brand and which model?

It was a very old Dell server running Win 2003 server. The motherboard died which had an onboard raid controller. Four years ago I was able to use another computer with a SCSI card installed and get to the information. For the life of me I don't remember what tools I used to get at the data. Now I need to get back on those drives to retrieve some archived information.

In the company we don't use the raid controllers

We image the drives and next we work with the images

Are you working with single drives or are you attempting to work with some sort of raid volume created with this scsi card? If you are doing this, you are on the wrong way.
