Undelete for Mac

Post by mmac » Thu Jul 23, 2015 11:47 am

There is an Undelete for PC but not for Mac. Is there any intention of creating an Undelete for Mac? If so, when?
Also, I have no corrupt files but just deleted ones. Is it possible to use R-studio so that it only searches for deleted files and doesn't waste time searching corrupted files?
Thanks

I don't think we're going to create Undelete for Mac. R-Studio is much better, especially for Macs.

Well, when the Mac OS deletes files, it does delete them. You'll need to scan the entire disk and use scan for known file types to recover deleted files. This article File Recovery Basics: How Data Recovery Works explains it in more detail.
