R-Studio' RAW scan could not identify a file's end precisely

Post by c1400700226 » Thu Nov 05, 2015 12:55 am

In new version 7.7.159.851, the RAW scan does improved, but still exist problems:

When search by signatures, the files always contain invalid data at the end, like lots of zeros between the real end and the recognized end.

That cause the files too large, so I have to delete the invalid data manually by using hex editor.

Hope you correct it soon!

Er, when will the next version release? I am looking forward to.....

That may happen. See the File Recovery Basics: How Data Recovery Works article.

Er, I means only R-Studio has the problem...
Other software, like RecoverMyFiles, does better than R-Studio....

Can you provide us with an example? Thank you in advance, we'll see what's wrong.
