Symbolic links

Post by laboratorio » Wed May 11, 2016 2:40 am

When I select the folder is shown at the bottom that I have selected for example, 100 files ; then when I start to do recovery it shows me that I'm recovering eg 300 files . I think it is a problem caused by the links.

You can solve? am I mistaken or is it a bug?

Thank you

They have introduced options to work around Symbolic links in the tech license version, but I'm afraid that you are stuck with confusion with all other versions. It may have improved in the most recent updates over the past few days...are you running the latest version?

Please, contact our techsupport with the File System Snap Shot (preferable in the Extended (rdi) format).
Tools -> Settings -> Main -> Enable Debug Mode.
Right-click the partition and select Create FS Snap Shot.

Sincerely I think make the symbolic links options as "Technican" functions is a bit fool.
More effective to manage recovered files or recovery "as it is", need to choose in every recoverying.
Put the option into main options menu, is really hard to use.
