Hello forum
When RStudio tries to restore files which are related to bad sectors, it does crash and many files which are not related to bad sectors are not recovered....
(even "Skip fikles with bad sectors is marked")
Is there a way to have RStudio generated a list of the unrestored/not restored files
(or is there a better and probably more automated approach to restore the not yet restored files after a crash)?
Thank you!
Linus

Re: list of the not restored files
R-Studio shouldn't crash at bad sectors. Please, contact our techsupport with the problem.

Re: list of the not restored files
If you know there's bad sectors, you should always be imaging the drive first. Preferably this should be done with a hardware tool like DeepSpar Disk Imager, but at the very least use ddrescue in linux to do it. Logical recovery should only be performed on the copy.
