Raw CRC Failures

Hi guys,

wondering if you guys have come across this before, i have an external disk, showing as RAW, its also showing crc failures everywhere...
i cannot fix the crc failures with chkdsk and r-studio seems to have a heart attack at seeing crc failures everywhere on the disk... im not able to do any recovery or take an image of the disk

any ideas how i can get around this or am i going to need to pass the disk over for physical lab recovery ?

the drive is a seagate momentus 5400 320gb drive

CRC errors are generally the result of a massive amount of bad sectors. Definitely best to get the drive to a company with hardware imaging equipment. The good news is if it's able to return CRC errors it should be an affordable recovery.
