Windows Defender Exploit Guard

Post by biker » Mon Nov 24, 2025 9:08 am

I wonder if there are any plans to remove info from the Windows Defender Exploit Guard whitelist about apps already removed from the system.
It looks like Windows Defender currently doesn't allow users to do this.

I understand that it's not recommended to touch info related to security software. But I've been using R-Wipe & Clean for many years. And as far as I know, the R-Wipe & Clean always tried to remove any info related to apps already removed from the system.

Thank you for the information. I've passed this to our developers.
