Trialing Product - Cant Restore C: Drive

Hi,

I am trialing the R-drive software and all went ok until I tried to do a C: Drive restore. With a normal boot disk made it ran but got stuck saying loading kernel, there it stopped and wouldnt go any further. I tried some of te troubleshooting tips and turned on "Display Kernel Startup messages" it then stopped at this point, can anyone give me an idea of what I need to do to the boot disk to make it work.

Most likely this is your network card causing the trouble.
Try to disable Plug and Play O/S in your computer BIOS

I did think that but I cant find any setting like that in my BIOs.. thats why im stuck.

I have tried diabling the netwrk card from BIOS that didnt help. I did raise a support call but have heard nothing, so guess ill have to look for another product if noone can help me.
Motherboard is a DFI NF2 Ultra Infinity it has a PNP section in the BIOs but its only about automatically assigning IRQ's or not, nothing about turning PnP off at all.

3.1.6.4 PCI/VGA Palette Snoop
This field determines whether the MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards
can work with PCI/VGA or not.
Enabled MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards work with PCI/VGA.
Disabled MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards does not work with PCI/
VGA.
3.1.6.5 PCI IRQ Assignment
By default, an IRQ is automatically assigned to the PCI devices
that are installed in the PCI slots. If a PCI device has not been
assigned an IRQ, you must manually assign an IRQ for the device.
During system boot-up, you will see “NA” for the device that
does not have an IRQ assigned.
3.1.6.3 IRQ Resources
Move the cursor to this field and press <Enter>. This field is used
to set each system interrupt to either Reserved or PCI Device.

Well, just as a last resort: Disable PCI BIOS on the Startup Media Troubleshooting Options panel.

I have the same problem.
Previous solution did not work.

Seems that

The PC has a cs8920 pnp but Linux driver is not pnp.

solution :

Either remove it from /etc/modules.autoload
or recompile the kernel without that driver selected.
