R-Drive Image Version Issue?

Post by Gruff » Tue May 12, 2009 12:00 pm

I upgraded from 3.0 to 4.5 and now if I try to select a prior version image for scheduled image task or as virtual I get an error in upper right box of Image File Selection form. "Image file format is not supported". Does this mean I can not restore version 3.0 images using version 4.5? Or is something else a miss?

I'm having the same issue, but with the bootable disk. I imagine I would get the same with the Windows version also.

Yes, starting from Version 4.2,the file format was changed. You may either use the old version or contact our technical support and they will help.

Is there a way to convert the image or should I just start making new images? Keep in mind there is alot of time involved in doing the latter.

Our support will provide you with the utility that reads data from old images and creates new ones.
