Driver removal and possible typo

Post by MerleOne » Thu Dec 01, 2011 9:35 am

Hi,

I have noticed, using Anvir Task Manager, that 2 new drivers are running since R-Drive trial install :
R-ImageDisk and DrvSnSht

Could you confirm they are removed when/if uninstalling R-Drive ?

Also, the description of the first one may have a typo, it says "R-ImageDisk Backup system Image Disk Accesor (BSIDA)", should it be "Accessor" ?

Those drivers run only when R-Drive Image is started first time after a system restart. They are removed when R-Drive Image is removed.

Hi,

Following this exchange, and some testing done with the trial version, I bought a R-Drive license. I am quite satisfied with it, I just have 2 new questions :

1/ I don't see removable media such as usb flash keys in the list of possible sources. Yet, it is sometimes useful to image them too. Is there a way to do do ?
2/ I have 2 recent usb flashkey, a HPv165w 8GB and an EMtec 4GB. They are both FAT32 formatted, and have over 50% free space. I can create a recovery media only with the Emtec, not with the HP. Is this normal ? It there a workaround to be able to use the HP too ?

Thanks.
