Select all items (checkmarks) and start to clean, now a few issues appear!

I use R-Wipe & Clean Classic Version 20.0 Build 2304 and two days ago, I select all checkmarks (except wipe lists) and then run it. When the process finished, I found out a few issues happened to my pc, and restart or a few other actions didn't fix them. I guess I shouldn't have selected some items to avoid those problems, but I don't know what items shouldn't select.

The most important problem is about displaying the windows explorer's icons. I use the "Content" view from "View" in the "This PC" window, when I set it and close the window and back, it sets to "Tiles" view! Also, I use different views for different windows. Prefer to use the "List" view for a few windows, or "Large Icons" for the rest, but now I have to choose one for all of them and can't use customized views for the different windows.

Another thing is about quick dials of Chrome browser. the thumbnails image of the "Speed Dials" extension, disappeared (but their addresses left under each thumbnail) and they need to refresh again to get a new thumbnail image for each dial in the Chrome window. Which item in the Chrome checkmarks tree of R-Wipe & Clean Classic is related to removing dials of a browser to uncheck for next time? But now the most important issue is the first one I mentioned. (View mode in windows on my PC and how to fix it to be able and have customized views for different windows).

To solve the first issue, you should first do the following:

• open File Explorer

• on the View tab, click the Options button on the right and from the dropdown select Change folder and search options

• in Folder Options go to View and click Reset Folders

In the future, in the R-Wipe & Clean, uncheck the following item:

Username's Traces ▶ Storing Traces ▶ Stored Explorer View Settings


For development team: as you can see, here the functionality should be improved.

I tried "Reset Folders", but nothing has fixed! Still, I can't have the "Content" view for displaying icons of my drives partitions on my "This PC" window or "Large" view for another partition and so on.

Then I don't know what could have happened to the File Explorer, sorry.

But still, I think this could have happened after cleaning Stored Explorer View Settings in the R-Wipe & Clean.
