Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
Hello, i'm doing quite alot of DR of single HDD NAS, with XFS and dual bay NAS Qnap and Synology.
Will you, guys, support those files systems soon?

Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
XFS is already supported. The rest will be supported in future.
Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
When do you think the support will be available for the others file systems? some time next year, maybe? Is ZFS supported or is it a work in progress.
About Xfs, i had an unlicky Drive that the R-studio demo couldn't scan the Xfs partition from a LaCie 1 bay drive. Had to anothersoftware to read the partition.

Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
That depends on many factors.
Could you be more specific? What's going wrong?
Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
the drive was and seagate with 137 bad sectors and was inside a Lacie single bay drive NAS. It had an XFS partition with 2 shared folders inside and R-Studio demo it didn't detected. unfortunately i don't have the image of the drive to test with the latest version of R-studio.
Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
I recon that your system cannot detect this Seagete either. Looks like this is hardware issue with your device. Neither R-studio nor any other data recovery software can work with such device.Sfarza wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 3:10 pmthe drive was and seagate with 137 bad sectors and was inside a Lacie single bay drive NAS. Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
the disk was detectable on the rapidspar and on any BIOS.
Oh i did recover the data with another data recovery software and recovered all the customer data.
Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
Then, what does that mean R-Studio didn't detect the drive? Did it show the device in the Device/Disks pane?
Re: Request support for XFS and other NAS FS
Do you use the latest version of R-Studio? And if yes, is this disk still available?
