different hard disks sizes

Hello,
Can somone tell me if i can clone a 73GB HDD to a 300GB HDD using R-Drive and retain the additional space on the destination drive?

Yes, but you will clone a partition (or a logical disk) on the hard drive rather than the hard drive itself.

As far as i knew the current disk wasn't partitioned as it is only a 73GB total drive.......

This on-line help explains you what to do: Copy a Disk to a Disk explains what to do. Just don't change the parameters on the Restore/Copy Parameters, except set Partition type to Primary (active) if the source disk is a system / startup disk.
