I'm recovering a RAID0 volume. First created with Apple's Disk Utility, then inadvertently deleted the RAID with Disk Utility. But not touching the drives after deleting the RAID.
I've created a virtual RAID but when recovering the data about 300 GB in, I get error messages stating it is Unable to generate a RAID checksum and it can't regenerate RAID5 parity.
Why does this show up for a RAID0 set? I could have used one of the disks in a RAID5 previously, but I don't think so.

Can I see the screenshots of the Drives panel and Parents tab?
