Scan consistently fails at 45%

I've been trying multiple times to recover my HDD but the scan keeps stopping at 45%

I get this repeated error message in the log:
"Kown File Types scan thread has been restarted because of analysis timeout at sectors _"

Tried it at least 5 times with the same results.. has anyone else experienced this or have a solution to this?

Maybe, bad sectors at that place on the disk?
