Hi There
Just wondering if I am able to use R-drive on a macbook pro with parallels installed? I am intending to use it to backup the contents of a hard drive from Yamaha AW4416 machine.
Many thanks.

R-Drive on OSX with Parallels
Re: R-Drive on OSX with Parallels
Do you mean you want to recover
- a virtual machine which was running in a parallel virtualization system
- a mac disk which also have some parallel VDIs
Or what?

Thank you

Re: R-Drive on OSX with Parallels
Thanks for your reply & sorry if the question was in shorthand.
I have a Yamaha multitrack recorder which records onto an IDE hard drive. The format is proprietary but I understand R-drive can read it and extract data/make backups. Of course R-drive is for PC and I want to make backup of the songs on my mac machine. I have a macbook pro running OSX and have also installed windows XP on the same machine via Parallels Desktop.
My question is whether I can install R-drive in windows XP (in parallels) and would that then recognise the IDE drive (or CF card) from the Yamaha AW4416, when the drive is attached to the macbook. I hope I am asking the right questions now. Thanks.
Kind regards
