Hi,
R Drive Image gets an AMD FX-4100 Quad-Core Processor up to 167 °F (75°C)

. Is it normal ?
Since last version, I get an temperature alarm bip, which I didn't get with older versions.
When R Drive is closed, temperature comes back to 77°F...

For the test purposes, can you ran R-Drive Image with almost no compression for the images? The only task R-Drive Image uses full CPU power for is compression.

Thanks.
Processor's temp is cooler with less compression, that's true.
But since I use DI (2 years), I always use the higher comp to gain room on my external HDD, and never I have seen such temperature with former versions !
My comp was beeping without end, and I had to stop imaging !
Good day.

I forgot :
I made an image with Paragon HDM Pro 15 to compare, with highest compression too : temperature was not getting as it did with DI's latest version.

Can you please estimate the processor load when R-Drive Image creates images without compression, using Resource Monitor?
