R-ImageDisk64.sys causes high CPU usage and BSOD

Post by testplayer » Mon Jan 09, 2017 2:28 am

Here is the detailed description of the problem that I have with R-Drive Image when using robocopy to copy from an R-Drive Image disk image file mounted as a virtual drive letter: https://superuser.com/questions/1162718/.
Is it possible to fix it in the next version of R-Drive Image?

Thanks for reporting, I've passed this problem to our developers.

Thanks for your reply. I noticed that the time-stamp of C:\Program Files (x86)\R-Drive Image\R-ImageDisk64.sys on my computer is ‎2014-‎10-‎10, although I'm using the latest version 6.1 build 6102 of 2016. So it looks like this driver for virtual volume is too old and has not been updated with the main program for a long time. I hope the developers can reproduce this issue and fix it in the next version. Thanks again.
