If the disk isn't recognized by your system, then no way. If yes, you need to create an image of the disk and work with the image. But a visit to a data recovery professional would be the best option.

Hello all, The drive got dropped when moving houses and so made a ticking sound. I have taken the disk out of the drive and put it into a functioning drive. Can you advise now which software is suitable for recovering as much as I can from the disk?
