Unfortunately, the image file will be deleted, so you'll have to wait until the imaging is over.

R-Studio recovery problem

by panth3r » Sat May 19, 2012 5:27 am

Hi Folks,

I'm using R-Studio to recover from a hard drive problem.
I am creating a drive image to perform recovery from as per your help & FAQs suggest.

It's running, and was going quite well until hitting 91% of the drive, whereupon it seems all sectors are bad and it's unable to read from them.
It's been trying to read from sectors around the 91% mark for over 14 hours now... My question is - If I hit stop on the dialog box, will the image be completed and be usable, or will the whole process be nullified and have to start again? Am I better off leaving it for days and hoping?

Any help appreciated.
