Did you write new files to that disk? If yes, looks like your old txt file files is overwritten and nothing could help.

i downloaded R STUDIO demo and i could find my lost notepad text file (creation time 2010) but seems the file is damaged and i can see only some garbage characters ! is there anyway to fix this file ?
