R-Studio works quite well on my Mac Mini with OS X Mountain Lion, so the problem is something else.
Please contact our techsupport with this issue, they'll help you to solve the problem.

After opening R-Studio v3 for the first time in 10.8.2, I was able to enter my registration info, then after I hit ok or save, it thinks for a minute, then all R-Studio related windows disappear. I have since tried to start R-Studio and now the icon pops up for about 15 seconds then disappears, and nothing else. I'm guessing this is a 10.8 issue and am wondering if you guys are working on an update.
