But contacting our techsupport is still an option.

A USB hub could help for the last situation.
Well, for the first one, please contact our techsupport. Most likely, this is a hardware incompatibility.

RStudio4 on SuSE linux?

by hvdosten » Mon Aug 06, 2018 2:10 pm

Hi,

I installed RStudio4 on SuSE linux 12 via:

rpm -Uhv RStudio4_i386.rpm

When I start the program, it asks for the administrator password. After this, I can see jumping the program-thumbnail for about 30 times. After this nothing happens.

What is missing on my laptop?

I then tried RStudioEmg8.iso and installed it on a bootable USB disk. First, everything works fine. But then it asks me for the activation code. I got it from your site, but I can not put it in the mask, because on my laptop there is just a "software keyboard", and of course this is not invoked by booting the system from the USB. Moreover this laptop has just one USB-port which is used by the stick...

Any small hint is very appreciated.

Thanks a lot
