If this is a real RAID1 (a mirror), you don't need to recreate the RAID1, just copy data from 1 disk, then recreate RAID1 on your Synology, and copy data back to the Synology.

I need to build an array from a Synology NAS DS420J both drives are fine I just need to recreate the array and access data, it is a Raid 1 Mirrored Array.

Just wondering if this is possible and how to exactly do it?

Thanks
