R-Studio for Linux missing after update [Fedora 39]

by tebaranowski » Wed Dec 27, 2023 5:22 pm

Hello,
I recently purchased R-Studio for Linux single desktop license to retrieve personal data from external HDD and encountered this problem - first update after installing replaces the package I installed from RPM file provided by R-TT with another package which is another RStudio, a different tool which I do not need. The problem in my opinion lays in naming scheme that matches the other package (e.g. a change the package name to "r-studio" or "rtt-studio" should eliminate the issue).

I hope I post this in correct place. I attach screenshots of how it looks on installed packages list before and after.

Best regards,
Tomasz
