Thank you for explaining me the thing with "Restore from Root" and yes it dows work :)

Nevertheless when (x) "Restore folder structure" is activated (without "Restore from Root") only the selected file
is restored but not the belonging folder structure....

Why that?

Because the Restore from root option was selected on the Recover dialog box. Next time select only Restore folder structure and leave Restore from root unselected.

Depends on what software you use.
R-Studio: [url=https://www.r-studio.com/Unformat_Help/basicfilerecovery.html]Basic File Recovery[/url], and then find your file: [url=https://www.r-studio.com/Unformat_Help/findafile.html] Searching for a File[/url]. Then select Restore folder structure on the Recover dialog box.
R-Undelete: [url=https://www.r-undelete.com/Undelete_Help/] Quick Start Guide[/url].

Hello Forum,

would lile to restore the file "torecover.txt" together with the entire folder structure.
(If possible in a single task :)

test1 -> test2 -> test3 -> test4 - file to torecover.txt


Is this possibe? How?
