Thank you for your detailed steps.
I have done all the steps that you have suggested
In fact, Macrium Reflect took only a couple of minutes.
So the issue is not related to the SSD itself.

I wanted to restore from an image made earlier. The recovery process is shown to take more than one hour which is unacceptable as I used to recover in about 4 minutes earlier.
I raised a ticket and Tech support was less than helpful.
Their response was SSD is faulty.
Macrium is perfect.
This app is not compatible with the newer generation gaming ssd's.
So there seems to be some incompatibility between the app and the gamind ssd.
I would never recommend this application to anyone unless they want to support a charitable cause.
