I fully understand your sarcasm, so please do understand ours.
I assume you double-checked the problems with access rights, faulty drives, access to a network share, etc.
Then, we need the LAST 2MB of data from the file. You may use any hex editor for that purpose, maybe one built into R-Studio. Then send it to me to raptorbck (at) gmail (dot) com. We'll analyze it and try to determine what's wrong with the file.
And getting access to such a huge file is not so much an issue as you may think. We can look at it over the Internet using R-Studio. Maybe, we'll have to do that to check your file more thoroughly.

It's a 500+Gig backup getting to you may be an issue. Any other suggestions?

The first guess is that the files got corrupted somehow. But it's little hard to say more right now without looking at the files, is it?

Just got a reply from Tech support - squeaky wheel I guess.

Not having much luck getting response from technical support... 3 support requests, 1 to sales and this post... a product is only as good as the support. We are technical support for our clients and a reseller of RTT products... Questioning whether we should be switching to another solution.

Not impressed.

I have 2 backups of a data drive which are 550Gig+ which I am trying to restore to a disk partition or mount as a drive so I can copy the data back to it's drive. When I try to select the arc file (4.7 windows version) it doesn't give me a next option either trying to restore or mount.

I then booted with the recovery CD to see if that made any difference... it ended up giving me the error that it was part of a multivolume backup and that I had to select the last backup in the set. Problem is this is the only volume. Software does the same thing for either backup. This is critical data and REALLY need to get it back... ANY help would be appreciated.
