Were you able to preview some of them before recovery? Double-click a file (pictures, pdfs, Office docs) on the right pane of R-Studio and see the result.
If the answer is "no", please tell us what happened with the files and the type of the storage device (HDD or SDD).

Recovered Files not opening

Hello,
I have used R-Studio to recover my files.They are showing up in the external hard drive I recovered them to but are not opening. Files are mainly MS office, pdf and photos
Can anyone please help? this is all my 2-years Master's degree data :(
