Import R-Drive Image backup task

by thetrunkmonkey » Sun Jun 18, 2023 2:25 pm

Using R-Drive Image, latest version, on a Windows 10 Home (x64) PC

I recently restored my windows boot drive (C:) to 2 weeks ago. That drive also contains the R-Drive Image application. Sometime during the last two weeks I created and first-time-ran a new backup job. So after the C: drive image restore that backup task is gone. The data is safe on another disk, but the task no longer exists in RD Image.

I now want execute an incremental backup of that missing backup task. Is there a way to import a backup task using the backup itself, which would allow an incremental backup to be run? Or do I have to create an entirely new backup task and run a first time full backup, even though 99.9% of the files have already been backed up?
