Doesn't matter, they'll have the same data recovery engine. This article may help: Data Recovery from an External Disk with a Damaged File System. The same technique is applicable to a reformatted disk, too.

R-Studio Windows/Mac?

by korim » Sun Aug 10, 2014 4:35 am

Hi,

I have an issue with a deleted HD that was/is formatted in ExFat.

Now my question is the following: Which R-Studio version Windows or Mac will get me better results? I have both options, the Mac is Mavericks and Windows is Windows 7.

Thanks in advance
Korim
