R-Linux doesn't support jfs. R-Studio doesn't either. Although you may recovered files using scan for Known File Types (R-Linux Help: Disk Scan). But without file names and the folder structure.
How to recover files using R-Linux: R-Linux help: Data Recovery Using R-Linux.

Formated hard Drive by error

by kdeuser » Thu Sep 10, 2015 10:02 am

Hi,

I am using R-Linux and my os is Ubuntu 14.04.

I have a hard drive of 2 tb partitioned in jfs.

Will R-Linux work on this drive ? I can only see ext2,3 and 4.....

Used R-Linux before but gave up on it as after the scan finished was unable to figure out where to copy the found files ...

Also, after the scan i can not see any file structure - file names etc.....

Is there a secret way i am missing to simply drag and drop found files on to another hard disk ?

Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks.
