Yes, you'll need another drive to store saved files.
I'd rather check found files by previewing them. See the on-line help: http://www.unformat-unerase.com/Undelet ... index.html -> Previewing Files.

R-Undelete Question

by Matt » Wed Jan 27, 2010 8:55 pm

I'm running the demo version of R-Undelete on an external drive I accidentally de-partitioned. It sees the drive and the scan appears to be finding files just fine (assuming "specific file documents" refers to my files). So I think I'm going to be buying this, as it looks like this will solve my problem one way or another. My question is this: do I need to buy another 1 terabyte external drive to recover to, or will R-Undelete just fix the de-partitioning problem on the drive itself?

Thanks!

Matt
