I am in the process of setting up a backup rotation schedule, and I am hoping to not over complicate the process. I would like to have backups on two physical external drives.
What my thought was:
Week 1, day 1, Full backup, day 2-7, differential backups on external disk 1
Week 2, day 1, Full backup, day 2-7, differential backups on external disk 2
Week 3, repeat week 1, etc.
My thought is to keep two full images and two weeks of differential on each disk, quota applied after imaging.
Does this make sense? Also, in the rotation setup, does "Maximum number of images" include both full and differential?
Thanks
