For recovery of a NAS - disk I am using R-studio for windows.
It regocnizes a bunch of files, but when I sort on extension it shows the files e.g. in the format 204837.xls.
So it can show the file, and also the correct file content, but somehow the filename and the location in the directory ...

I need to recover data from a Linux SATA disk which was in a NAS, I plan to use R-TT software.
So my plan is to setup a machine running Ubuntu having a native SATA disk, install the R-TT software, and install the disk that was in the NAS as second disk in the Ubuntu machine.
