k, Ive disabled the power management on the usb ports themselves and I'm running a job. I have to wait for it to complete and I'll keep you posted.

It's a server, so power functions are set to be constantly on. However I can inspect the USB power saving and see if that causes any difference

Hello, I keep getting the following error one each of my external backup drives when I run a job. Doesn't matter if the disk has been formatted, empty, or full. Same error appears.
