In the meantime, I found a different software package and got all my data back.

Done. Hopefully we can get this working.

I'm currently using ReclaiMe File Recovery which cost way too much but it sees the LVM (actually it sees too many of them and it's missing some folder/filenames) but right now I'm just trying to recover as much as I can.

The free trial of ReclaiMe file recovery can see the Ext file system and files, I can even preview some.

I'm hoping somehow R-Studio can read the LVM volume as well.

I ran ReclaiMe Free RAID Recovery just for fun and I got this output:

The array type is RAID6.
The array consists of 6 disks.

The disks are ordered as follows:
#00: Image file D:\Mount\NAS03\Disk6.dsk
#01: Image file D:\Mount\NAS03\Disk1.dsk
#02: Image file D:\Mount\NAS03\Disk2.dsk
#03: Image ...

@Alt, I suspect the reason why R-Studio isn't detecting LVM is because the first 2 raids are not LVM (they are mdadm raid 1 volumes), so it just assumes they are all mdadm.

Image finished, e-mail sent.

Feature request: It would be helpful if we could re-name the partitions within R-Studio, having 4 mdadm Protective Partition 4 times per disk for 6 disks is kind of hard to keep track of.

I'm going to assume that all 6 images should be opened as well.
