Why in the World is the company treating customers that way. A customer buys the product, reads about how they can backup and restore their linux computer as well following a KB article from the company. They turn around and say nah you can't do that .

Missed reply at first. the R-Drive Image startup disk will work in its Demo mode (with full functionality) for 7 days starting from the date when it was created.

Does that mean if I (just example) backup Linux on September 1, 2023, then in November 2023 I need to restore, If I make a new startup ...

I see you changed your KB article on backing up Linux, it now has the added note at the top.

You state that startup version will work 7 days from creation date.

Now does this mean if a Linux computer is backed up, and two months goes by and a restore needs to be done, if a new startup version is ...

The bootable version of R-Drive Image may require activation to fully work with another computer (not the one where R-Drive Image is installed).

How would I activate the bootable version on a Linux machine, that is what I want R-drive image for to backup and restore one Linux computer I have ...

In your FAQ under Data Recovery you state:
In the newer version, an R-Studio image can be used by another our software, R-Drive Image, to restore it onto another HDD. So, if your R-Studio image was created by the version that supports such images, then you need R-Drive Image to do so.

In earlier versions you could also backup your Linux computer via this KB article: https://www.drive-image.com/Disk-Backup-Mac-Linux.html

Now the latest version doesn't allow this. Since R-Drive Image don't install on Linux, how can someone license it for there Linux computer and continue using it ...
