R-Studio Emergency Agent over Network and Runtime Image

I'm curious as to why I can't create a local runtime image for a drive connected via an Emergency Agent over the Network. This seems like it would be really advantageous so that you get read-once access to the remote drive no matter how you are exploring and recovering files.
