R-Crypto Win 10

Post by Midge » Tue Jun 14, 2016 8:41 am

Just upgraded (if UP is the right word) to Win 10 to try it out. R-Crypto runs, but when the container is closed, Win 10 has to close and reboot. Can't seem to get it to work as Win 7 compatibility either. Anyone else had the issue and/or got any ideas of a similar product? I like R-Crypto though and would like to get it working if possible.

Thanks.

I tested R-Crypto running on Win10. It works quite fine. Maybe, something like a antivirus or alike locks the R-Crypto containers?

I've tried it with my AV (Kaspersky Internet Security) turned off and it still does the same. It does appear to close the container just before it blue screens, and the message is REFERENCE_BY_POINTER.

PS - don't know if it makes any difference but I am running a Samsung SSD on the machine in question, which is my Dad's.

However, on my OWN machine, I run a similar Samsung SSD drive + R-Crypto + Win7 without any issues.

I'll test R-Crypto once again at several Win10 machines.

I tested R-Crypto on 4 Win10 machines (2 real and 2 virtual), and everything worked ok.
Does the BSOD show that R-Crypto crashed the system, or some other module?
