Scheduling Backup Errors
R-Drive Image 4.6 build 4602 running on windows 7 64-bit
I can create an image fine to a network drive manually, but when I schedule I get the following:
Result: ERROR: Cannot commit (The system cannot find the file specified)
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: Scheduling Backup Errors
Most likely, this a network problem. The network drive may become somehow temporally inaccessible.
Re: Scheduling Backup Errors
I dismissed that when I can do a manual backup immediately before or after a scheduled one.
However, I will change the target to local to see what happens.

Re: Scheduling Backup Errors
I have had a reoccurring scheduled backup error as below. r-disk is backing up a win2003 STD server under vmware ESXi to a shared USB on a Win2003 STD (physical server).
When run as a manual process never a issue. The actual folder already exists, and permissions are fine. The scheduled task is running as domain administrator.
help? Any likely cause?

Re: Scheduling Backup Errors
1. Upgrade R-Drive Image to the latest version.wayneash wrote:I have had a reoccurring scheduled backup error as below. r-disk is backing up a win2003 STD server under vmware ESXi to a shared USB on a Win2003 STD (physical server).

2. Check that Disk Y: exists under the account R-Drive Image command line starts under.
3. Use UNC paths like \\servername\sharename\jansap\jansap.arc
Re: Scheduling Backup Errors
upgraded last night to v4.7 and changed to using URLs. Was thinking that the drive maps could have been the issue when the schedule backup kicked in.
Will advise.
